Joining the Society

The best way to enjoy all the benefits of the Society is to become a member. Annual subscriptions are due 1 January. New members who join after 30 September are deemed to have paid their subscription up to the end of the following year, so you receive up to 15 months membership for the price of 12. If you pay UK income tax you can also benefit the Society by Gift Aiding your membership.

Ordinary Membership costs £20 per annum which goes towards the running of Leatherhead Museum as well as other costs. Benefits include priority receipt of the quarterly Newsletter and annual Proceedings on publication, access to member-only records and digitised documents online, free use of the Society's Library, free participation in most organised walks and other events, and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

Associate Membership costs just £6. This is for those living at the same address as Ordinary members. Student Membership is for those under 18 and interested in their local history. Neither Associate nor Student members receive priority Newsletters and Proceedings and cannot vote at the AGM.

Small Corporate Membership costs £125 per annum and provides all the benefits of Ordinary Membership as well as sponsorship opportunities.
